We always eat roti, chapati. The tandoori roti on the dhaba is different in taste. Today I am going to tell you about the same Dhaba style tandoori roti.

Ingredients for making tandoori roti:

Maida-1 cup
Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
Yogurt - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Ghee - 5 tbsp (Asli Ghee)

Recipe for Tandoori Roti:

To make tandoori roti, first take a pot and add 1 cup flour, 1/2 wheat flour, curd, sugar, baking soda, salt and ghee. Combine all the ingredients by hand.

Adding wheat flour to tandoori roti gives it a good taste and is also easy to digest. After kneading the mixture by hand, add a little water and knead it. Knead the dough soft and fluffy (not too thin, not too thick). Wet a handkerchief and cover the dough for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, the flour will look fluffy. Knead the dough with 2 tbsp oil. Make it a soft ball. Then make small balls of it. Then roll it into round loaves. Do not add too much flour to the roti. When the roti is rolled, spread a little water on surface.

Place the tawa on one side to heat. Pour the water side roti on that heated tawa. Put the gas on low heat. Bake the roti well on one side. Then turn the tawa of the roti over on the gas and bake the roti well. 

The water spread on the bread will cause the bread to stick to the tawa. Bake all the roti in this way. When all the tandoori roti is baked, add ghee on top.
