Easy Kachori Recipe

Sometimes you want to eat something new, you have all the ingredients in the house but you don't know what to do. For that, today I am going to tell you this delicious kachori recipe.

Ingredients for making kachori masala:

Coriander - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 2 tbsp
saunf seeds- 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Besan - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Red Chili Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Sugar - 1 tbsp

Ingredients for making ragda:

Soaked vatana - 2 1/2 cups
Potatoes - 1
Mustard - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Finely chopped onion - 1/2 cup
Red Chili Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Water - 3 glasses

Ingredients for making kachori cover:

Maida - 1 cup
Heated oil - a tablespoon
Salt - to taste

Other kachori ingredients :

Oil - for frying
Tamarind chutney
Green chutney
Yogurt
Fine shave
Cilantro

How to make a ragda kachori masala:

Remove coriander, cumin, saunf seeds in mixer. Then heat the oil in a pan. Then add the flour and gram flour extracted from the mixer. Spoon the mixture together. 

Put the gas on medium heat. Then add turmeric chutney, salt,sugar and stir the mixture with a spoon. Turn off the heat when the gram flour is well roasted.

How to make a ragda:

Put some water in the cooker, add peas and potatoes and take 4-5 whistles.

Then put oil in a pan. Then add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Then add finely chopped onion and stir it with a spoon. 

When onion becomes slightly red, add red chili powder, garam masala and turmeric powder and stir well. Then add vatana and mashed potatoes. 

Then add water and salt and stir. Bring it to a good boil and turn off the heat.

How to make kachori:

Take flour in a bowl, add oil and salt and knead the mixture well. Knead the dough like a chapati and cover for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, roll it into small balls and make small chapatis(make a 3 inch circle). Then fill it with gram flour mixture and roll it(make a 3 inch circle). 

Put oil in a pan on one side and heat the oil. Then put the gas on low heat and fry all the prepared kachori.

Then remove the kachori in a plate and make a small hole in the top. Add tamarind chutney and green chutney. 

Sprinkle curd, red chili powder, shavings and cilantro on it as per your liking. Ragda put on it and serve immediately.

Tip: If you have aji-no-moto in the house, you can throw it in the ragda.
      If you want a spicy ragda, heat the oil in a pan and add some red chili powder and spread on the ragda.
